Cytotoxic T cells and NK cells (natural killers)
Macrophages are the cells in a lymph node that engulf and destroy damaged cells, foreign substances, and cellular debris. They play a crucial role in the immune response by clearing out these harmful elements and helping to protect the body against infections.
The composition of lymph is similar to blood plasma, but with fewer proteins and no red blood cells. It also contains white blood cells, electrolytes, fats, and cellular waste products.
Yes the Lymph Node filters waste substance and nutrients throughout your bodies bloodstream and passes it to your white blood cells which destroy the material.
The lymph vessels are needed becasue If the white cells don't destroy the germs In our body the lymph will do.Lymphs are Some kind Of fluid that Is similar to the blood but Insted of transport blood it transport lymph By :A fifth grade student on john Spry sCHOOL
White blood cells Hope it helped!
Lymph comes from the interstitial fluids spaces in blood where interstitial fluid is found. Lymph is composed mainly of white blood cells.
lymph caries digested and absorbed fat from intestine and drains excess fluid from extra cellular space back into blood. Lymph is basically blood plasma without the blood cells, the fluid that is forced out of capillaries to clean and nourish cells. The part of it that does not return to the blood vessels is picked up by lymph vessels and eventually returned to the blood.
Lymph nodes are packed full of white blood cells, usually lymphocytes.
if bacteria enter a wound and are not ingested by the white cells of the blood or lymph, they will be carried in the lymph to a lymph node and white cells there will ingest them
Produces white blood cells.
