The negative result is the one most likely to be true but you can just wait it out and see what happens or you can go to a gynecologist and tell them u want a pregnancy test. If you took the first test with your first pee of the day, then your second one later in the day the first one may be correct. first pee of the day is more concentrated therefore more hormone in it than later in the day. Leave it a week and if you don't have a period, then do another test with the first pee of the day as instructed on the pack.
This happened to me when I got pregnant with my third child. The first test was negative and the second positive. From what I understand, a pregnancy test can give a false negative but rarely gives a false positive.
