The part of the skeleton that protects the spinal cord is the vertebral column, commonly known as the spine. It is made up of individual vertebrae that encase the spinal cord, providing structural support and protecting it from injury. The vertebral column also allows for flexibility and movement while maintaining the integrity of the central nervous system.
The spinal column is part of the axial skeleton. (The appendicular skeleton is made up of the bones of the appendages. These would include all of the arm and hand bones, and leg and foot bones.)
The Axial Skeleton
The part of the skeleton called the skull is the head.
The skull or cranium protects the brain.

skull
it is the skull that affords most complete protection of the body it protects the brain or some how i not sure maybe the ribs and spinal cord is the one who affords but in my study the ribs protects the lungs and the spinal cord is connected to the nervous stem BUT I'AM NOT SURE SORRY
The skull.
The axial skeleton is composed of the skull, the spinal column, and the pelvis. All other bones are part of the appendicular skeleton.
The Skull Dumb-Dumb
The skull, specifically the orbit, is the part of the skeleton that protects the eyes. The orbit is a bony cavity in the skull where the eyes are located, providing them with protection from injuries and outside elements.
