The larynx is the structure that is located between the trachea and the bronchial. The trachea is the tube that runs from the larynx to the bronchi.
That tube is called the trachea. It is also known as the windpipe.
A division of the Trachea is the Bronchiole Tubes
The parts are the Trachea,Bronchiole,Bronchiole Tubes, Bronchi, and the air sacs.
bronchiole
The trachea splits into the left and right bronchi in the thoracic cavity(the chest). From there the bronchi continue to branch out and keep getting smaller. Kind of like the branches on a tree. At the end of the those branches (bronchioles) are the alveoli( tiny grape like structures). In the alveoli is where the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide occur.
The larynx, commonly known as the voice box, is the muscular structure located between the pharynx and the trachea. It contains the vocal cords that vibrate to produce sound during speech.
Bronchioles are located in the lungs. They branch off of the bronchi.
The bronchiole is closest to the alveoli, as it is part of the branching structure of the respiratory system that leads directly to the alveoli, where gas exchange occurs. The trachea and bronchus are larger airways that lead to the bronchioles, while the pharynx is part of the upper respiratory tract and is further upstream in the airway pathway.
throat or pharynx
Nostrils → Nasal Cavity → Pharynx → Larynx → Trachea → Main Bronchus → Lobar Bronchiole → Segmental Bronchus → Bronchiole → Terminal Bronchiole → Respiratory Bronchiole → Alveolar Duct → Atrium → Alveolus
Nose>>>pharynx>>>larynx >>>trachea >>>bronchus >>>bronchiole >>>alveolus
trachea- primary bronchi- secondary bronchi- tertiary bronchi- bronchiole- alveoli
