A tumor of flesh tissue is commonly referred to as a sarcoma. Sarcomas are cancers that arise from connective tissues, such as bones, muscles, fat, and blood vessels. They are distinct from carcinomas, which originate in epithelial tissues. Sarcomas can be further classified into various subtypes based on the specific type of tissue affected.
Cancers of connective tissue are typically referred to as sarcomas. Sarcomas can develop in various types of connective tissues, such as bone, muscle, fat, and cartilage. Examples include osteosarcoma, liposarcoma, and chondrosarcoma.
Sarcomas are malignant neoplasms of connective tissue. Sarcomas are rare types of cancer and are always malignant.
Sarcomas are cancers of the various types of connective tissue we have such as adipose/fat tissue (liposarcomas) bone (osteosarcoma), or skeletal muscle (rhabdomyosarcoma). There are certain genetic conditions that can predispose an individual to developing sarcomas, but I doubt most sarcomas happen that way since most of these inherited conditions are uncommon.
Melanomas Lymphomas Sarcomas Carcinomas
Temodar is FDA approved for brain cancer but not sarcomas, although it has shown some potential/promise for that and other cancers. There are various trials ongoing, but I have not yet found any for soft tissue sarcomas. If I do, I will reply back with information.
Malignant primary bone tumors are characterized as either: bone cancers which originate in the hard material of the bone.or.soft-tissue sarcomas which begin in blood vessels, nerves, or tissues containing muscles, fat, or fiber
Sarcoma (for examp. Langerhern Cell Sarcoma, Sarcoma of Ewing). addition! Reticulosarcoma (means sarcoma of the reticulocyte cells) A malignant tumor of connective tissue is called Sarcoma. There are three different subcategories: Hard Tissue Sarcomas (can occur in bone or cartilage), Soft Tissue Sarcomas (can occur in muscles, tendons, or lymphatic vessels) , and Liquid Tissue Sarcomas (can occur in blood and lymph)

Herman D. Suit has written: 'Soft tissue sarcomas' -- subject(s): Programmed instruction, Programmed texts, Sarcoma
Sarcomas are malignancies that arise from mesenchymal tissues: (think of middle layers of body) bone, cartilage, muscle, fat, blood vessels. Examples are osteosarcoma-bone, chondrosarcoma-cartlilage, liposarcoma-fat, myosarcoma-muscle, and angiosarcoma-blood vessel.
