For infants or toddlers, follow the dosage instuctions by weight for infant or child formulation acetaminophen, and do not use beyond the recommended time frame. For an infant, this is a relatively low-pain procedure. For an adolescent or adult male, it can be quite uncomfortable , but adult dose of acetaminophen should be fine . If the pain is great, consult the surgeon.
