Women are more prone to the gain of fat, because that's the way GOD naturally built them. Though over eating, poor dieting and laziness, is probably more pone to men. Don't take this offensively or automatically disbelieve me because I am a man. Anyways, the perfect amount and combination of both can make the perfect obese person!

FAT GAIN + OVER EATING, POOR DIETING AND LAZINESS = OBESITY

Why do overweight women prefer overweight men?

It allows them to feel at ease and not feel bad about their own weight in relation to their partner. I know a lot of overweight people who have partners that aren't. I think it's a very narrow generalization to say that fat people are more comfortable dating fat people.

Why don't gay men find overweight men attractive?

That probably is not true, at least not the implication that there is some special or specific distaste for overweight men by gay men. Just as there are many straight men and women who prefer full figured people of the opposite gender, there are gay men and lesbians who have similar preferences.
