Katharine Wright was one of the females of the family. She was NOT an Aviatrix but was the namesake of a tramp steamer ( S.S. Katharine Wright). Occupationally, she was a school teacher and an alumna of Oberlin College ( which also spawned my Old Favorite Mrs. Grace Lamour) She lived into the thirties, dying of Natural causes. I do not believe she had cancer, but that is possible. an interesting question.
