they push your teeth apart in the back of your mouth before you get braces on. when you get braces put on, a metal circle thing(i cant think of what its called) wraps around your back teeth, it acts like an anchor. spacers help make room for that.
hope this helps
The metal thing that goes around your back teeth is called a band
Yes, You can put it. I know a site named Customadeonly.com which supply spacers & adapters with better material. It provides spacers for all.
Spacers are little blue rubber bands the orthodontist put between your molar's.

My son told they hurt a little bit at the beginning. Then you just get used to them
Spacers feel like you have a piece of meat or popcorn wedged between you teeth! DO NOT try to floss it out (it will be almost impossible anyhow!) About 6-10 hours after you have your spacers put in, you will befin to feel teeth movement. Any discomfort should go away after a couple of days.
They are little flossed chips that are put in between your teeth that need spacing. They connect with a wire bracket across the roof of your mouth....or below. Spacers are the worst part of the whole process in getting braces. They will hurt for about 6 hours after they are put in. Depending on your gums and how sensitive they are. They might bleed just a little or not at all.
Well I believe you do have to get spacers before braces. The spacers are used to separate, or space out, the teeth. Where these spacers are, the bands for your braces will go.I didn't have to get spacers before my braces. Some people do some people don't my friend she did not have to get spacers only braces.
