Lungs are considered a respiratory organ because they are involved in the process of respiration (glucose + oxygen --> water + carbon dioxide) lungs are therefore used to provide oxygen in order for this process to occur :)
respiratory=breathing excretory= meaning to excrete which means come out or let go of something(feces)
the important organ in the respiratory system would be the lungs. There are many other organs that are just as important as the lungs such as diaphram, capillaries, etc. but the lungs are considered to be the "stars"
lungs
The respiratory organs of man are called the lungs. The lungs are located in the chest and are protected by the rib cage.
Ozone can affect both lungs and respiratory system. It is because it acts as a pollutant over the surface.
Both of them belong to Respiratory System.Lungs are the respiratory organs of human beingsGills are respiratory organs of fishes
lungs considered as excretory organ because it excretes waste such as carbon dioxide and other wastes , and it is considered as respiratory because lungs involves respiration which means as the transport of gaseous materials like oxygen in and outside of the body.
Respiratory system
lungs is respiratory organ of cow
Inspiration and expiration are both considered one respiratory movement.
The common features that gills and lungs have is: 1: They are both respiratory organs in animals. 2: They are both moist. 3: Blood flows through them.
amphibians breath with the help of both gills and lungs. example frog. frog in its larval stage is called a tadpole and its respiratory organ is gills. in its later stages of life (adult) its respiratory organs changes into lungs
