  • The most reasonable answer is that your body is craving water. Too many of the sodas and other things we drink have so much sodium that our bodies may be getting the liquid, but the sodium is negating it. So it's just your body craving water. It is possible to drink too much water, but drinking water in the proportions and drinking it throughout the day replenishes the water lost when urinating, sweating, and salivating.
