not sure there is any substantial studies...but i suppect there might be some excitatory component to maca ...or it's hormone regulating component ...some people have increased seizure activity surrounding their menstral cycle. their hormone levels evidently effect their seizure activity. Maca can effect the hormones of men and women so might possibly effect those with epilesy. Again..from what i've read...i'm not sure anything is conclusive..just a general warning of the possibility.
