It's usually associated with the sphincter muscle, called hemorrhoids, it can be a painful itching mass of swollen anal tissue and dilated veins.

Hemroids, also referred to as piles, are the sensitive lumps or bulges that develop around the edges of the anus one or more of the anorectal veins becomes constantly enlarged and often may also be come inflamed.

They are caused by excessive strain on the veins of the anorectal area.

In some cases people are born with a genetic predisposition to weak vein and valve walls, Loss of tissue elasticity as the result of age, strain from constipation or diarrhoea. Hemeroids are also often seen among people that are overweight, pregnant, or those with liver disorders that cause a build up of back pressure in the lower veins through the portal vein. This also referred to as portal hypertension.

Constipation is often the result of a low fiber diet, insufficient water, too much lactic acid from dairy products, and or alack of vitamin E
