I had lice when I was like 8 and I know quite a lot about them. I kinda found it interesting that bugs were living on my head. Anyway, yes they do bite they eat your scalp. that causes sores that itch. That why your head itches when you have lice.Another answer:Actually nits don't bite, lice do. Nits are the eggs, and some authors limit the definition to dead lice eggs. So the eggs are either hatched already or incapable of hatching. That makes things confusing when schools have "no nit" policies, and only nymphs and adult lice spread. Abandoned egg shells and dead eggs (often after using lice shampoo) cannot spread nor bite. However, there is no way of knowing by appearance whether the eggs are viable or not.
well nits are the one that produces lice so no but the nits's babies are the lice
If someone in your class has nits, you do not have to stay far away from them. The fact is, even if you are sat right beside someone who has nits, you might not get them off that person. Nits don't jump, so unless your heads are right next to each other, as they would be if you were whispering something to them, it is unlikely that they will pass nits on to you.
nits come from Mexico
they suck your blood and the most dangerous nits out of all are the red nits
no dogs can not get lice they can only get a different lice which is dog lice not head lice which humans get so basically no dogs can NOT get nits (lice)
Nits grow into lice
Well you see, we invented nits because the germs that we cough and spread everywhere go everywhere so it gets in are hair then we scratch are head which makes it worse then the just come and people pass them on so more nits can be made and suck your blood on your head. Its angin I know.
Normally the brown nits are the dead nits, and the white nits are the alive one. I don't see the brown ones to be dangerous but I would still remove them. I found that vinger helps remove the nits dead or alive.
the effects are your skin becomes yellow and ichty and smells of clorine Death because it cleans out everything.
Yes. So do Chimps and Gorillas (and most mammals for that matter).
You could go out to the shops and buy some nits hair care which you have leave in your hair for so long. Or if you want to get werid, do what the Egyptions did and shave all you hair off.
