First, head pain is in the veins and vessels surrounding your cranium or head. They are dilating and contracting based on the vessels that go up your back, up over your head and down your forehead and in and around your eyes. That’s why you hold the bridge of your nose to slow the throbbing.

One side (usually the opposite to the side you feel the headache on) in your back is cramping. It starts next to your coccyx crosses up your back. Lay down flat on a rug, not the bed, and relax.
