You could be referring to muscle spasms, which are usually the result of not drinking enough water the night before. Alcohol is a diuretic, so not only are you typically replacing water for alcohol but the alcohol itself is ridding your body of water more quickly than normal. The end result is your muscles cramping up from lack of hydration. Try drinking a glass of water for every few dirnk you have. You'll go to the bathroom a little more, but you might find you feel a lot better the next day.
