A cuttle bone appears on the beach as it is the internal shell of a cuttlefish, a marine cephalopod. After the cuttlefish dies, the buoyant cuttle bone often washes ashore due to waves and tides. These bones are lightweight and help the cuttlefish maintain buoyancy in water. As a result, they can frequently be found along Coastlines, especially in areas where cuttlefish are prevalent.
by eating cuttle fish shells at the beach
i don't know but hermit crabs eat cuttle bone aka cuddlefish bone
The cuttle fish 'thing' is a rigid bonelike structure we call a cuttle bone commonly used in birdcages for birds to clean/hone their beaks.
Provide him with a mineral block in the cage, also a cuttle bone for both beak trimming and calcium.
Dogs should never eat fish bones. Choking and digestive problems can occur.
Yes, have you ever found a bone on the beach?
If you are after Cuttlefish bone. You should be able to find it in most pet shops. I do not know if live cuttlefish are for sale normally.
This may not be very helpful, but I have walked along a beach before, and simply found one there. I don't know of any other places, of course, as I have not found any anywhere else, so if you need one for something, good luck in finding one on the beach! Sorry if I'm not much help. Have a good life. x
