But if the question was: why is most of the dust underneath your bed is your own dead skin?
The answer would be :there's an insect to small to see with the naked eye that feeds on our dead skin and lives on and in
your mattress they live and die there and
the weight of their body's accumulate over time and increase the weight of the mattress that's right the older the mattress the heavier it gets.
(Oh just to let you know umm.. the questions are the same but my one makes more sense okay.) :) ☺☻

the dust is grey because the shed skin cells (also know as dead skin) are given off and it is grey, so basically dead skin is dust (Gross isn't it?) (I know, LOL)
