I'm not sure what you mean. If your mouth and throat are "on fire" because you ate something that was pepper hot, you can put out that fire with sugar. Place some regular granulated sugar in a spoon or in the palm of your hand, then eat it. You will experience instant relief from the burning sensation caused from eating hot peppers.

Learned while dining on something spicy hot in a Chinese restaurant. Water never helps. Milk or beer helped a little bit but not enough. I told the waitress "I'm on fire here!" She was the one who suggested the sugar remedy. Now, as long as some sugar is available, I will try a spicy dish with no fear.
