All humans, male and female alike, have an Adams Apple. It is the result of the vocal cords stretching outwards during puberty to deepen the voice.


When the larynx grows larger during puberty, it sticks out at the front of the throat. Everyone's larynx grows during puberty, but a girl's larynx doesn't grow as much as a boy's does.
