If you are finding it harder to concentrate in the evening than in the morning, then presumably you are tired after your exertions of the day, and you need to rest. Note that not everybody has greater difficulty concentrating in the evening than they do in the morning. There are morning people and there are night people. It depends upon how your life is organized, how much coffee you drink, and so forth.
Certainly it is more cheaper to set heating for two hours morning and evening rather than to set it for all day long.
