Your blood is composed mostly of water and cells because

1-water is very easy to transport and it the water is actually called plasma and is composed of water, nutrients, hormones, ect.

2- the cells are actually

a-Red blood cells (rbc)- which transport oxygen to cells and Co2 away from them

b-White blood cells (wbc)- fight infections and signal body to make histamine with heats up tissues which can kill pathogens(germs), and cool fact wbc actually have their own sys. called the lymphatic sys. but don't have a muscel to move them, i.e. heart, so they relay on muscle movements.

c-pallets- clog leaks, when you get a cut your pallets reproduce quickly and join together and become a scab

And just to creep you out, you have billions of bacteria in your stomach that help digest food and your stomach is their earth.

What are the different parts that make up blood?

Blood is composed of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Plasma is the liquid component that carries the blood cells and other substances through the body. Red blood cells carry oxygen, white blood cells help fight infections, and platelets help with blood clotting.

Parts of the blood?

Red blood cells, which carry oxygen to the other cells of the body from the lungs White Blood Cells, which play a major role in the immune system, which protects the body Platelets, which are important for forming blood clots Plasma, which makes up the majority of blood, and is composed mostly of water with nutrients dissolved in it

Which component in the blood is made mostly of water?

Plasma is the component of blood that is mostly made up of water, accounting for approximately 90% of its composition. Plasma also contains various proteins, electrolytes, hormones, and waste products.

What is blood plasma composed of blood and water or water and salts?

Blood plasma is the component of blood without cells. It's made up of water, salts, and other chemicals such as proteins.

What is the breakdown of blood?

Blood is composed of three main components: red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, suspended in a liquid called plasma. Red blood cells carry oxygen to tissues and remove carbon dioxide, white blood cells help the body fight infections, and platelets aid in blood clotting. Plasma consists mostly of water, electrolytes, proteins, hormones, and waste products.

Red blood cells-white blood cells-platelets?

Plasma: Composed mainly of water about 90% in volume. It is what the blood cells suspend in. Red Blood Cells: deliver oxygen to the tissue via the blood and carries some of the waste products back from the tissue. White Blood Cells: cells of the immune system that are composed of various things. Platelets: Platelets play a fundamental role in hemostasis and are a natural source of growth factors[. They circulate in the blood of mammals and are involved in hemostasis leading to the formation of blood clots. Like red blood cells, platelets have no nucleus. Hemostasis is a complex process which causes the bleeding process to stop.

How much water is present in our blood?

The average adult human body is made up of about 60 water, and blood is composed of about 55 plasma, which is mostly water. This means that approximately 55 of our blood is water.

What is the composition percentage in blood?

Blood is composed of approximately 55% plasma and 45% formed elements, which include red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Plasma consists mainly of water (about 90%) and proteins such as albumin, globulins, and fibrinogen.

What is the chemical composition of whales' blood?

Like human blood, whales' blood is mostly made of red blood cells and plasma, with a much smaller amount of white blood cells. Plasma is mostly water, but has proteins, fats, and other chemicals mixed in.

Can blood move in the body without water?

No, blood cannot move in the body without water. Blood is made up mostly of water, along with other components like red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Water is essential for the transportation of these components within the blood vessels.
