If you are bleeding a week after a tooth removal, you probably want to go back to the dentist. This could mean that you have a dry socket or that there is an infection.
The symptoms of ear bleeding would be blood coming from the ear or ears. Is the question more likely, "What are the causes of ear bleeding?"
Well, its probably not good.
go to the vet and get the ear stiched.
if you just got it pierced it will do that. but if you have it it peirced for a while, and it still bleeds, then yes it is bad.
If blood is coming from the ear that means it an ear infection
Assuming it's not bleeding, and it's just a small cut - Let it heal up. If it's bleeding a little, i'd put some cotton wool on it for a little while and wait for it to stop bleeding. Just don't keep messing with it / picking at it.
Not likely, as Bell's Palsy merely affects the trigeminal and/or facial nerves of the face. Bleeding from the ear can be caused by numerous other things, such as concussions, ear infections, or injury. Consult an emergency physician with any ear bleeding as it has a high likelihood of being serious.
its infected
It happens. Was/is it a lower wisdom tooth? The inferior alveolar nerve travels through the lower jaw, this is the nerve the dentist "numbs" to work on a bottom tooth. Lower wisdom tooth problems often cause an ear ache. It could be an infection, it could be the nerve was bruised, it could be do to normal healing with a little swelling. Tell the dentist/oral surgeon.
Take it to a herp experienced vet ASAP! A broken carapace is nothing to mess around with.
I would get him/her to the doctor asap just to make sure everything is OK.
Well if your ear does bleed then make sure that it doesn't get into the piercing which may cause into infection. Put pressure on the bleeding and it should stop and result in a scab. Hope this helps
