Why should you care about anorexia nervosa?

Well, its because your starving yourself and the body starts to eat itself and you DIE! and TV and Magazines influence our youth to be skinny and it isn't healthy.

It is an easting disorder, which is like a disease where an individual hs an un-healthy relationship with food. Similar to other "common" disease, like chicken pox or the flu, anorexia can cause severe organ damage, weight loss, skin problems, and hair problems, not to mention weakness and fainting. (FYI - Anorexia is not often called a "lifestyle".) Anorexia can even be fatal. It is a serious disorder that affects both the body and mind and is rightfully so called a disease.

Because you are losing the nutrients your body needs. Your bones are weak and break easily. And that stays for an extremely long time. Even worse, it can cause permanent damage to internal organs.
