Sensory disorders Allergie foods Sensitvity to foods
It is best to consult your doctor about what you should feed your children because you have to know if they have any allergies. The doctor may suggest certain foods for certain people.
People with Autism often have difficult times digesting foods that are high in protein. Examples include foods that are rich in gluten and casein, which range from a wide variety of dairy and grain products.
They can digest the same food as everybody else. However, children with autism might have sensory issues with certain foods. They might be insensitive to moderately spicy foods, preferring to eat spicy foods that seem to have some flavor to them. They might be extra sensitive to spiciness, preferring extra bland foods. They might have a sensitivity to touch, causing them to gag on foods with certain textures. They might dislike certain foods that have too intense an odor. In addition to that, they often prefer the same routines, so they might want to have the same breakfast every day, the same lunch, and the same dinner. They might make exceptions for birthdays, holidays, and other special occasions, but they might not.
You wouldnt' only by eating certain foods and not eating certain foods.
"Picky" is a term used to describe people who refuse to eat certain foods. Being wild animals, platypuses do not have these sorts of human characteristics. They are adapted for certain foods, eating small water animals such as aquatic insect larvae, fresh water shrimp, annelid worms, yabbies and crayfish.
Some children with autism have sensory integration issues resulting in an inability to tolerate not only chips but most crispy, crunchy foods (crackers, popcorn, pretzels etc.) Others dislike foods that are salty. Some people with autism adore crunchy foods. Some people with autism adore salty foods. This can be because of sensory issues, too. Hi, this is a different person , and i have an autistic brother and he LOVES chips!! he will say "i want chips! i want chips!' i think it depends, (please excuse my spelling i am 11 and i want to go eat a dounut) bye.
Your baby may have gas when you eat certain foods, it is normal and just try to avoid thoses foods. Whatever you are eating then so is your child. You child is NOT allergic to your milk. If your child was allergic to your milk there would be vomiting, sleeplssness, and many other signs. Just try to avoid these foods. From a breastfeedin mother. cause it does! Because the baby is allergic to your milk.
Finicky fishes will often refuse dry foods, as well as certain carnivores that require live prey to illicite a feeding response. There are far too many to list here.
It's common for 11-month-olds to be picky eaters as they explore new tastes and textures. To encourage your child to try new foods, offer a variety of healthy options, be patient, and lead by example by eating together as a family. Gradually introduce new foods and involve your child in meal preparation to make eating more fun and engaging. If your child continues to refuse table food, consult with a pediatrician for guidance.
Autism has many different effects, all depending on how sever a case it is. But there are NO two kids with autism who act exactly alike. some talk, some don't. some wave their arms in front of their faces, in a form of 'stemming', and some don't. some like certain things, like foods, that make them happy. some find a way to 'stem' off of moving things, like ceiling fans, or a certain type of toy. Effects for mild autism are normally along the lines of ( but not limited to) attention issues, learning problems, extra enery. for severe, i'd say more violence, anger, odd noises, and not talking or making the usual progress a baby would when in infancy.
