Yes, you are more fertile then usual after birth and breastfeeding will not stop you from getting pregnant.
In my experience, breasts do not leak until after you have given birth and are actively breastfeeding.
lactation is the body producing milk ,some pregnant women produce milk weeks before the baby is born. breastfeeding is the act of feeding a baby from the breast.
As long as you are breastfeeding the baby, you can not get pregnant.
CAUSE YOU SICK
the breastfeeding explains the tenderness and the cramping, so for now no worries but if you have any other signs get a test and check it out, best of luck
I'm having my first one now. It has been two weeks and is still going strong.
Research suggests that prolonged pacifier use in newborns may interfere with breastfeeding success by reducing the frequency and duration of breastfeeding sessions. It is recommended to limit pacifier use in the early weeks of breastfeeding to establish a strong breastfeeding relationship.
In the early weeks of breastfeeding, the breasts get very full in between feedings while your body learns how much milk the baby needs. At first, it is painful because the breasts are so engorged. This subsides in a few days, though some fullness still occurs for a few weeks. During this time, I described the feeling like scratching an itch. It is also common for nipples to be very sore at first, even with a correct latch. This will get better, too. After your body has regulated your production of breastmilk, you only feel the touch of your baby's mouth. It doesn't hurt or feel strange at all.
Hell, I am Mrs. Truitt from Mississippi, 29, married with three kids. I am 7 weeks and my breast still hurt. I never notice my breast hurting with my other kids. I am sure that they still hurt at 6 and weeks.
Yes. Sore breasts in early pregnancy are common. As they begin to develop the mechanism for producing milk, there are a lot of changes and things get a bit crowded.
HygieneYou may shower and wash your hair at any time. Change your pads frequently and cleanse your self with warm water using your peri-bottle at every change. Remember to wipe yourself from front to back. No douching or internal tampons for 4-6 weeks or as indicated by your physician. Perineal stitches are absorbable and do not need to be removed. If your stitches or hemorrhoids are sore and hurt, take a sitz bath three times a day or discuss with your provider and use perineal wipes on your perineum or hemorrhoids. ConstipationAvoid constipation by eating a well-balanced diet including fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of fluids. Stool softeners or mild laxatives may be used. Family PlanningYour provider may advise that you not have sexual relations for 4-6 weeks. Your period may return 6-8 weeks after delivery unless you are breastfeeding. Some nursing mothers do not menstruate until weaning their baby from the breast; others resume menstruation at various times while nursing. Pregnancy IS possible 4-6 weeks after delivery before you get your period whether you are breastfeeding or not. Breast CareIf breastfeeding, refer to breastfeeding handouts. If not breastfeeding, your breasts may still become full and heavy. Wear a supportive bra. Do not handle your breasts or express milk. If your breasts feel warm, apply ice packs under arms for 20 minutes to decrease discomfort. Exercise/ RestTake frequent rest periods, especially when your baby is sleeping. Avoid lifting anything heavier than the baby for 3-4 weeks. DO NOT start vigorous exercises until approved by your provider. Perineal exercises can be started when you get home.
