Will a sociopath ever stay with a victim?

Sociopath is a layman's term that covers three different disorders. All of them have the component of "using" others. However, to say that someone will "always" do something presumes more about personality disorders than can be accurately stated.

Short answer: Sure.

Long answer: I can only speak from personal experience, being a diagnosed sociopath, because, like those whom are neurologically normal, we are also individuals. I'm happy to shrug and let go, usually it occurs when *I'm* bored and thus happy to cut ties (once I'm through, I'll drop someone like a stone and not look back), but on those occasions when someone has walked away? I may be annoyed, but I'll move on promptly.

However, the emphasis is on individuality: be aware that some won't, it depends entirely on the individual. If a sociopath wants to continuously torment you, then why wouldn't they?

If you think of the fact that anyone, including you, is capable of harming someone else, I think that gives you more than enough of an answer.

a sociopath may try. my birth mother tried to poison my dad... he spent a week in the hospital and he nearly died. the really messed up part is that she had me crush the pills for her.
