No.
It's a not a pregnancy sign but just as when you are not pregnant you can get cough or a cold.
No it does not cause it.
No they do not hurt at all, and it can not be a sign of pregnancy.
ARE THERE ANY OTHER CAUSE OF COUGH RELATED TO PREGNANCY?
Pain in the ovaries is not a symptom of pregnancy. There is no reason for your ovaries to hurt, except maybe in later pregnancy when the baby is taking up a lot of nearby space.
Speaking from personal experience, yes. The muscles used in coughing can cause bleeding in pregnancy. This has been confirmed by my OB doctor but I would recommend that if a woman was to have this to call their doctor and make an appointment.
Yes, coughing too hard can strain the muscles in your chest and abdomen, causing pain. It can also irritate the throat and airways, leading to soreness and discomfort. In some cases, excessive coughing can even result in rib fractures or exacerbate existing conditions like asthma.
