Sure, if you hold a match in the spray and use it as a flamethrower--there's a distinct down side to that strategy, though. You can also comb out the little buggers and smash them with the can. Hairspray will not kill head lice. You would have to use enormous amounts to drown or encapsulate them, and even then, their eggs will survive. Lice shampoo is relatively inexpensive and much more effective.

bleach kills the the hair follicles so if your bleaching your hair or using bleach to dye your hair it will but some hair dyes don't
