Yes, Mine did. I was given retainers but at first you are suppose to wear them all the time (day and night). I did not wear them enough the first year or two and my teeth shifted quite a bit. My teeth are better now than if I had never had braces but if you do not follow instructions you will regret it later.
get them asap they will shift
No, orthodontists do not break teeth to apply braces to your teeth. However, if the orthodontist has determined that your mouth is overcrowded, it may be necessary to have some teeth extracted if they will interfere with the plan of correction. Once the braces are put on and the teeth begin to shift, they will gradually fill in the spaces where the other teeth were.
If you brush your teeth once in a day and use mouthwash at night, your teeth will be really good when you get your braces off.
Yes wear the retainer trust me it's worth it.. Your teeth will shift otherwise..
The wire connected to the brackets shift your teeth into the shape of the wire. Thats why it hurts after the othodontist fixes them every 2 months
An orthodontist can put braces on your teeth
If your teeth are quite crooked then you could have braces to straighten them out, but if the teeth are slightly crooked some people prefer to leave them that way as it sometimes adds character to that person. If you are young and have teeth over lapping or some are too big the dentist may pull a couple of teeth and then put braces on the patient's teeth.
Braces. Brushing them everyday helps. Getting a tooth-plate to wear at night is somewhat helpful. =D ~Megan~ What if you can't get braces?
No. The braces will hold the teeth in place.
Braces are things that go on your teeth and it straighten your teeth and make you have a nicer smile
Of course you can. Braces have nothing to do with the "color/brightness" of your teeth. Braces are used to straighten teeth. If it is, in your finding, that drinking coffee has discolored your teeth, then he or she (your dentist) can apply a "whitener" to your teeth, regardless of braces. Regards
Your teeth will surely shift ,at least a little, its inevitable, but If you want perfect chompers then you should get braces. At the end of yourtreatment they'll give you a retainer to keep your teeth straight for good.
