On the hit TV series "Seinfeld", George's dad used to shout, "Serenity NOW!", but I have found out from personal experience that that response is not always appreciated, especially at the public library. I couldn't bear to show my face there for SEVeral weeks... but I digress.

Instead, in recognition of the time-honored axiom found written in The Bible at Proverbs 15:1 which quotes: "A soft answer turns away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger", I remain silent when I recognize that I am angry, and repeatedly repeat these words, "Patience, please, immediately, please..." until the moment of anger has passed. Eastern religions would probably call this a mantra, and it is what works for me. After all, I don't want to blow a vein or anything. So I try to bear in mind also that "Silence is golden".
