This sounds like pregnancy. Sometime, the pregnancy hormone is not concentrated in high enough levels to be read by a home pregnancy test. Many store bought tests are not sensitive enough to detect an early pregnancy, no matter what they say on their box. You can wait another week or so and test again or go to your doctor for a test.
