This sounds a lot like implantation bleeding. While an EPT has detected hcg levels in your urine, indicating pregnancy, it usually takes between 6-14 days for the embryo to implant in your uterus. For many women, they mistake it for their period/ miscarriage (if you already know you are pregnant). I have had 2 miscarriages and the bleeding was heavy, bright red and accompanied by clots and cramps. I am pregnant again (8 weeks) and this time I had implantation bleeding right around my period time (approx 4 weeks). It was dark and minimal, lasting only about 30 mins. I just had my first fetal ultrasound and I have a healthy baby with a heartbeat! So don't worry too much. The only thing you can do at this point is wait it out, perhaps take another EPT in a few days or get your hcg levels taken by your doctor, and hope for the best.
Sometimes there is light bleeding (of the pinkish variety) after intercourse because the cervix is very sensitive when you are pregnant. Always keep a eye on ANY bleeding though. Congrats on your pregnancy!

The cervix can be open or closed during implantation bleeding. It really depends on the individual and where they are in their menstrual cycle. If you are experiencing implantation bleeding, it's best to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice.

If the IUD is misplaced in the cervix, you may have cramping, irregular bleeding, painful intercourse, or bleeding after sex. In addition, you will likely notice the strings are longer than they used to be. You may even feel a bit of the IUD protruding from the opening of the cervix.

If a woman's cervix bleeds with minimal contact, it may be a sign of chlamydia. Bleeding or spotting after a pap smear isn't necessarily a sign of chlamydia. Since you're concerned, contact your health care provider to make sure you were tested for chlamydia at the time of the pap smear.
Take the tip of your finger and press the tip of your nose. This is how a non-pregnant cervix generally feels. Now take the tip of your finger and press the fullest point of your bottom lip. A pregnant cervix generally feels "soft and mushy." You cannot feel it from the outside.
If you are pregnant and bleeding red call your doctor ASAP. If you recently had sex it could just be from a sensitive cervix. When i was pregnant and spotting my docs office told me no sex and I was on bed rest for 7 days after the spotting ended.
If you are not pregnant, and not on your period, then it probably means you are ovulating. The cervix opens up when you are ovulating, and it becomes 'slimier' to help aid the travel of the sperm. If you are pregnant, then it just means your are pregnant. If you are not pregnant, and not ovulating, then it means you are about to have your period.
If you are pregnant your cervix will swell and get firmer to the touch. This is due to the entrance being sealed so it now starts collecting fluids inside.
