Many people love the smell of new furniture just like some people like getting into a brand new car and smell the leather seats. Try "Febreeze' just a few squirts in the room with the new furniture. Also leave mid-sized small pretty bowls around the room with a little milk in them. Milk will absorb the odors (like when you paint a room) but be sure to change the milk at the end of the day. Keep windows open when you are home as the air will eventually evaporate these smells. Also, ornamental small table fountains are pretty to look at and will also absorb some of the smells. It doesn't take time for the smell to leave your furniture.

To effectively remove smells from wood furniture, you can try using baking soda, white vinegar, or activated charcoal. Sprinkle baking soda on the furniture, let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum it up. Wipe the furniture with a cloth dampened with white vinegar. You can also place activated charcoal near the furniture to absorb odors.
Furniture , posters ect. cannot be sold for money:)
The car should be aired out for a day. Then afterwards should be meticulously cleaned. This should get rid of any rotten smells in the car.
