Chondroplasty knee surgery typically takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete. The duration can vary based on the complexity of the procedure and the extent of damage to the cartilage. This minimally invasive surgery is often performed arthroscopically, which can help reduce recovery time. After the procedure, patients usually need some time for observation before being discharged.
Most knee revision operations take about three hours to perform and are similar to knee replacement procedures.
It takes a while don't worry they put you to sleep
45 mins well mine is just a small MRI machine so they said it will take about 35 minutes.
Not as soon as you want. Knee replacement surgery is a serious medical procedure. After the surgery you will usually get a therapy to get use of your new knee replacement. This will take several months up to a year.
The healing time for a dislocated knee depends on the severity of the injury. Most knee dislocations result in the tearing or rupturing of a tendon. In this case, surgery is most likely necessary. This usually has the longer healing process. The time period is usually about a year ..with the surgery and physical rehabilitation. Full recovery of the knee (return to the previous, strong state) could even take longer. The dislocations that may not require surgery could take 6 months. Again, total recovery could mean more time.
Knee replacement surgery typically takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete. However, this can vary depending on the complexity of the case, the type of knee replacement (partial or total), the patient's anatomy, and the surgeon's experience. After the surgery, additional time is spent in the recovery room to monitor the patient's immediate post-operative condition before moving to a regular hospital room.

It depends on what you need the surgery for. If you're not a physician, you should probably take your physician's advice; he went to school for 6-8 years just so he'd know the answers to questions like this.Common Knee Treatments and ProceduresKnee Replacement Surgery (Arthroplasty)Knee Ligament RepairKnee Abrasion ArthroplastyRunner's Knee (Patellofemoral Stress Syndrome)
Hey, you have just been through a MAJOR surgery! You feel a loss for your old knee, even though it has worn out & we are lucky to have replacement surgery available. Let's face it, this is a life change...the rehab is long & you feel tired after years of pain. Take it a day at a time. The first knee replacement I had, I cried the second night for about a half hour...really over the loss of my real knee. Take care, things do get better & one day you will be so thankful that you were able to have a new knee put in. Blessings!
It's a question of pain, if you can take the pain of the metal digging into you ligament then yes. sometimes, kneeling is impossible due to where the knee replacement is and you cannot bend you leg properly.
I'd say liposuction, its your stomach, and the would feel more discomfort than knee surgery. I had the exact knee surgery opperation and since its not large incisions and very small pencil like tools, it doesnt hurt much. Many can walk on it that day. Others take a week. There should be more pain before surgery than after. rather than lipo, your fatter before but hurting after.
Yes it sucks but you do.I even had to take a pregnancy test before surgery even though I was already on it.Your not allowed to wear any of your lady products. You have to wear one of their pads they give you no tampons and not your underwear.I had knee arthoscopy surgery a month ago while on it, not fun. =[
