Around 5 to 6 miles generally in a 8 hours shift. This is of course all dependent on the hospitals location and size. This job is taxing on your feet and body so don't be fooled.
how do you keep your patient informed and involved in their care during your shift
I have a 2002 pt, standard shift with 188000 miles on it. No problems to report at this time.
After an attack (myocardial infarction), the patient is in shock. This causes a fluid shift, thus making the patient thirsty.
"Q shift" refers to a specific shift in the context of healthcare, typically denoting a period when medical staff, such as nurses or doctors, are scheduled to work. The term can indicate a specific time frame, such as "Q12" for a 12-hour shift, or it may refer to the transition between shifts. In some cases, it can also relate to the quality of care or frequency of patient monitoring during that time. Understanding shift designations helps in managing staffing and patient care effectively.

It is fraud to chart on a patient you did not provide care for. She must chart for the 3 hours she was responsible for the patient but not for the 9 that she wasn't at the facility.
If the transmission would not shift, YOU would not go at 60 Miles Per Hour.....
Shift their position every two hours.
