PS. i got my two chalazions from a girl, in Basketball WHO CUT MY EYE. which its first stage was a -sty that didnt hurt..didnt know it at th time. thenn became a chalazion. been dealing with it for about a year noww. suckks.
Hey there, I suffered from Chalazions too and had to have two surgically removed. They were basically styes that had healed over and they swelled and blocked my vision. i discovered from another persons website that I could use a heat pack from rite aid the kind you microwave on the chalazion. It takes a few days of concetrated heat. (Warm washcloths don't cut and make me miserable) Well amazingly the heat pack caused it to burst and weep for a few days and it was gone. It seemed like such a hard lump that it wouldn't work but it did and I havent had a chalazion again since. Someone told me once you start having surgeries for this problem you will keep having to have surgeries and that hasn't happened for me because hotpacks are the key. I used to suffer from Blepheritis when I was young and that was solved with Mecuric oxided 2% ointment. I hope I helped

Depending on where the chalazion is located on the eyelid it most definitely can be removed during the process. If it is too close to the lashes, it likely would not work, since in the surgery the Surgeon removes the interior tissue. This also applies if the chalazion is too far underneath the brow. A video of this actual procedure is attached, but be warned it can be considered graphic by nature to some viewers. There is nothing overly grotesque about it, but it does show the surgery. This can give a person an idea of how the surgery could successfully remove a chalazion if in the proper location.
number 11 blade would be fine.

You already have it right.
planned surgery (also called elective surgery )
No if you have already inform about your surgery then it cant but if not then in some cases, secondaly if the surgery had to be done in emergency then also you cant be fired.
I do believe surgery hastens dementia, especially in elderly who are already fragile and it may be that these patients have dementia prior to surgery and anaesthesia exacerbated the condition.
If you have already gotten the surgery done all this information should be provided to you by the doctor who did your surgery. You can find out about all of this at any clinic that specializes in the surgery.
