If one is interested in becoming a reconstructive surgeon, he or she will be required to attend a four year university, then attend medical school and earn their doctorate. After this, one may then apply to become a reconstructive surgeon.
There is no "fast" way to becoming a heart surgeon. You will be required to attend years and years of college ... at least 13 years of college ... do internships for a couple years, residency for additional years ... it's a very long road, and well worth the effort in the long run.
