nursing process is the same no matter what setting it is applied in. The only difference is the context. Public health nursing has a much broader and deeper knowledge base than bedside nursing. In Canada all nurses are required to have a knowledge base at the level of public health nursing as an entry to practice competence...this is tested on the CRNE or Canadian Registered Nurse Exam which all nurses must pass to obtain a nursing license.
