Shortage of doctors leading to long waiting times or sub-standard services. 3. Poor communication at different stages of health care services delivery points. Unnecessary delays may occur at registration, pharmacy e.t.c. 4. Inadequate or poor equipment resourcing of health facilities. This leads to delayed or no services, which can be catastrophic to patients. 5. Outbreaks of certain diseases such as influenza, diarrhea, malaria can overwhelm the health service delivery. I believe the above named points are root causes of poor health service delivery world wide.
