Hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT.
The process you’re referring to is known as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). It involves breathing pure oxygen in a hyperbaric chamber, where the pressure is increased to up to three times that of normal atmospheric pressure. This enhanced environment promotes healing by improving oxygen delivery to tissues, helping to fight infections, and facilitating recovery from various medical conditions. HBOT is often used for conditions such as decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, and chronic non-healing wounds.
This treatment involves placing the patient in a chamber breathing 100% oxygen at a pressure of more than one atmosphere (the normal pressure the atmosphere exerts at sea level). The increased pressure forces more oxygen into the blood.
People who, for various reasons, have trouble breathing can get oxygen more easily in a hyperbaric (which is to say, high pressure) chamber. There are also a number of diseases for which an excess supply of oxygen may be helpful.
Pressure eualization chamber
Chamber pressure is determined by the cartridge, not the rifle.
A hyperbaric chamber is a special chamber that they put divers into to help them cure something they can get from diving called "The Bends". When you put the diver in the chamber it increases the pressure surrounding the diver's body. The high pressure forces forces the gas bubbles to re-dissolve back into the blood and tissues. By very slowly decreasing the pressure back to normal, the gas in the persons body slowly escapes.

The process of brewing coffee using a vac pot involves heating water in the lower chamber, creating vapor pressure that forces the water into the upper chamber where it mixes with coffee grounds. After brewing for a few minutes, the heat is removed, causing the brewed coffee to flow back down into the lower chamber as the vapor pressure decreases.
The maximum vacuum pressure that can be achieved in this vacuum chamber is 10-6 torr.
Chamber pressure is dertmined by the cartridge. The max standard pressure for .223 is set by SAAMI at 55,000 PSI.
