im guessing vinegar is definatly in there as I used them last night and there was an overwhelming smell of vinegar and garlic maybe?

Are you kidding? I don't know about you, but my common sense is relentless. The substance is obviously something related to "liquid smoke flavoring", for the smell is downright flagrant. The only question is, "How is this stuff made into white powder?"

It turns black because of humidity and warmth? Sure seems that way to me. Cleansing? "Holistic ingredients"? "Heavy metals"? "Toxins"? Give me a break. How about "Chinese marketers really, really wanting American money, and willing to claim any natural process as their self-proclaimed mecca"?

Does anyone know something I don't? Really! I have used these things for an entire week, 12 hours a day minimum, and all I have to show for it is greasy feet. And a garbage can that reeks of smoke flavoring, big time. Which is not all bad, but not really what I had in mind. If you like the smell of smoke flavoring, hey, great, don't let me rain on your parade. Otherwise, better off cleaning your feet in vinegar. And saving good money. And not having funny-smelling garbage. "I've been everywhere, man." SM

I am an herbalist and I am pretty sure these pads contain" Pine Tar" it smells exactly like it and I also believe the heat if your body warms the pads and the little beads melt, changes colors. The first day I used the pads I was blown away; then I thought about it and PINE TAR soap does heal and reduce inflamation on the skin. Old fashion remidity
