A "brownfield site" is one that has previously been built on (including ex-industrial sites). They are targeted by the UK government for new building rather than building on fresh countryside ("greenfield sites").

Clean up is important because it helps maintain a clean and organized environment, which can improve safety, prevent accidents, and promote overall well-being. It also helps to reduce the spread of germs and pests, as well as improve aesthetic appeal.
In the Upstream Offshore Industry we consider Greenfield Construction to be the construction, installation and hook-up of a totally new facility. A facility that has never been in production, where there are no simulatinious operations such drilling or production in progress at the same time as construction activities. Brownfield on the other hand is the addition of new facilities and equipment on an operating, producing platform. A Brownfield project usually means you are doing "Hot" work on a platform that is in production and may have drilling operations in progress. Brownfield work can't be done in a "closed fence" environment so therefore is inhirently more dangerious and demands that you mitigate the risk.
Some users on the site thinks it's funny when it is clearly not. WikiAnswers is a site where users can share the knowledge, while some just think it's a fun little game were you can post rubbish and use inappropriate wording, but obviously, WikiAnswers is not a site for users to goof around. If you are thinking of becoming a user, to post spam and rubbish on the site, we recommend that you just do not join, it takes a lot of volunteers to clean up after people like you when the volunteers could be doing more important things, and add cleaning up after spammers to their list of tasks of more important things to do. So, this is not funny and if you even think that WikiAnswers is a site to post your rubbish, well sorry to say, but it's not, so again, we'd suggest you do not join or stop posting garbage. If you want to make a lot of people clean up after you, be my guest, but that leaves us wondering: Why do you continue to post spam on the site? To volunteers that clean up this rubbish and spam, thank you very much, you help WikiAnswers a lot!
If we see it we either delete it or revert to a good precious version of the answer. We may also block the spammers or vandals from accessing the site.
Like all interactive websites, "clean up" is an every day job. WikiAnswers volunteers and staff 'clean' the site every day. Speaking of, I better get a move on!
