While they are on it:

most noticeable is pupil size. The pupil tends to get a lot bigger, and also the eyes may flicker from side to side very fast.

A slight dazed look, and being unable to keep the eyes open for long is another one.

Chewing alot is another. This is called "Gurning". Sometimes the person will chew at nothing, or at their tongues. Or even their own teeth.

Constantly "loved up". Telling people they love them, hugging things, speaking to strangers. Doing things which are normally out of character.

Never usually aggressive (Cocaine however, has been known to make people aggressive).

Needing water constantly due to an over stimulation of the hypothalamus (I think). Its important however, that only a PINT of water is taken in per hour, otherwise it can cause serious problems to the fliud levels in the brain.

Signs after taking:

Depression. This is also known as a "come down". people can be very quiet and withdrawn.

This is to do with the amount of serotonin and dopamine that has been re-absorbed by the body by the amphetamines.

Also, the person may have trouble eating, due the the gurning, which can cause the throat the swell slightly, and the jaw to become very sore.

Sometimes, people do tend to gurn after they have taken the drug for a few days, depending on how much was taken.

Red eyes are also a symptom, but not as common.

in effect, it is like a hangover, just without the sickness.
