My little female Shih Zhu (4 yrs) ate 2 Ricola Cherry Honey cough drops. The only active ingredient is 2 mg Menthol per drop (no artificial sweetener. she seems fine but I don't know if she ate them 3 1/2 hrs ago or 1 hr ago since I was gone. Does anyone know for sure if menthol is harmful? She has no symptoms thus far, thank goodness, but I'd rather be cautious.
