Are there any emotional side effects from Mirena?

A few days after I had mine removed I started my period for 6 days but It was too bad. I am already starting to lose the weight that I was told I would not gain on the Mirena....My skin is looking better.

Yes there are known emotional and sexual side effects from the Mrena IUD. Including but not limited to IRRITABILITY, depression, loss of sex drive, nightmares, fits or rage, panic....the list goes on. The manufacturer does not make a point to adress these serious issues in the pamphlet from four years ago maybe it has changed. but this is a new IUD relatively new so just Google "Mirena Side Effects" and just like every other drug it seems is out there...everywhere BUT the manufacturers site gives you the real story on the side effects some of those associated with Mirena have no doubt ended friendships and relationships for the user.

Mirena is a useful medication taken to block pregnancy. Like all drugs it will have side effects. The most common of these is bleeding between periods.
