I had a really bad experience taking glucosamine with Univestin added--severe intestinal distress that sent me to my Dr for a battery of tests (all turned out negative). 40 days & it was awful, some days I could not leave the house. 40 days was the clue--I had started the bottle which contained 120 pills & took 3 pills/day. when I finished the last pill the timing struck me & I went back to taking glucosamine with no Univestin added. began to feel better in one day & 6 days later was back to normal
