i got my tongue peirced 2 weeks on Thursday and i had no swelling .. just take strong ibrobrophen or paracetamol and youll be fine just listen to your peircer about how to care for it and don't eat solids for the first 2 days and that will cause more swelling :)

Well it should look like a tongue with a barbell running through it, the distention (mild swelling) around the piercing is normal and no cause for concern
