In New Hampshire they have court ordered mother's out of treatment and have taken newborns and adopted them out.
Only a doctor or registed personal at the methadone clinic can tell you what will help with methadone withdrawel
I have a friend who goes to the methadone clinic. This person told me that tramadol and methadone together can kill you.
tell a freind that your taking methadone because methadone is all about the peer pressure. Your relative or freind will take you to a treatment center
DO NOT TAKE ULTRAM/TRAMADOL WHILE ON, OR COMING OFF OF METHADONE! You can, and probably will have a Grand Mal Seizure (Which is Very Bad)! How do I know this? It happened to me 3 times! I finally found out from my Methadone clinic that you can't mix the 2, or take Ultram while coming off of Methadone. It is a HORRIBLE experience! Please heed my advice! You can DIE!
each state has different regulations for how a methadone clinic or pain treatment center can prescribe methadone. the regulations are more about how many take home doses a person can get(after certain amnt of time, multiple supervised drug tests, etc.) than how the physician can prescribe it. outside of a methadone clinic/ pain center- any dr can legally prescribe methadone- most just are scared to because it is a potent opiate that has the longest half-life(stays in body) of any oral opiate. This can be deadly if too much is given to a person with no tolderance
Methadone will only show up as methadone because it requires its own specific test to detect it.
This isn't an easy question to answer. I do know that there are pregnant women who attend the local methadone clinic, however, it can and does cause addiction in the newborn. It all depends if the benefits outweigh the risks. It is important to discuss this with a doctor. I agree that there are pregnant women who attend a methadone clinic and are able to have a healthy baby. I myself know several of them. However, their baby stays in the hospital while they wean it off of the methadone (again, this applies to the women I know that were pregnant on the clinic... not all women who have a baby while on methadone will have to leave their baby at the hospital for weeks at a time for the baby to be withdrawn safely under medical supervision). So, therefore, I would advise anyone who is pregnant to speak to their personal doctor about the risks and benefits of taking methadone while pregnant. I do, however, think that it is better for a pregnant woman to be on methadone instead of a cocktail of drugs that could really endanger (or worse) the unborn child.
yes it can and does because i take a test every month for my methadone and it shows up. I had to go rounds with the workers at the clinic because it wasn't in the books they had..JUst look it up on the net if you need to and get the answer here...
Please don't take it before you know what your doing. Methadone SHOULD NOT be taken recreationally. It is dangerous and addicting. I'm addicted myself and have done reports, taken classes, have other junky friends. I've seen it all with Methadone. Any other drug ask someone else, but I know my methadone. I go to a Methadone clinic.
at least 24 hours I would say at least 24 hours. The longer you can wait, the more (and better) you will feel. I just switched over from Suboxone to Methadone 2 months ago & didnt really "feel" the methadone for about 3 days. I waited roughly 24 hours between doses because of all the "horror stories" I have heard, and I didnt get sick at all. Methadone and Suboxone are a strange thing when it comes to what to take first and vice versa. I was on 110milligrams of methadone and had to stop altogether without weaning because a broken down car. Nine days later I took 16mgs. of Suboxone at a new clinic and was deathly sick for two days. This is because methadone is a full opiate while Suboxone is a partial opiate. So if you take Suboxone and then Methadone, you will either feel the methadone or feel nothing(depending on your Suboxone dose) BUT if you take Methadone, especially for a long period of time, and then take Suboxone, God have mercy on you, it can throw you into AWS(Acute Withdrawal Syndrome) and its like a flu times 10 with insomnia
No, methadone will only show up as methadone because it requires its own test to detect it. Darvocet will show up as a propoxyphene on a drug test.
Don't take methadone in combination with Valium as this will increase the effects of methadone and can lead to an overdose.
