Sensitive teeth are not a known side effect of methotrexate, but it is known for having a good deal of side effects. If that is happening, be sure to bring it up with your doctor.

The only way to find out what's wrong with your tongue and teeth is to see a dentist. If there is something wrong with your teeth, like being broken, they could be scratching your tongue which can make it sensitive.

Coca Cola contains high levels of sugar and acid, which can weaken tooth enamel and cause a tingling or sensitive feeling in your teeth.
methotrexate will make you more prone to infections and that includes the gums and area around the teeth. I have been on Methotrexate for several years now 10 mg weekly along with 5mg folic acid daily and have had very little trouble from that area. It is best however to keep in front of anything that may feel like it could start to infect because it take longer to get rid of the problem then it used to.
yes. i have it in my mouth as we speak.
This would be best discussed with his doctor I am an adult on the same stuff and from what I understand there is an increased risk if infection. At one stage I ended up not being able to get rid of a lung infection while on Methotrexate and antibiotics until i dropped the methotrexate for the course of antibiotics plus one more week. If you are on methotrexate make a point of mentioning it to your Doctor if you are going to have any live inoculations against illnesses because the methotrexate will reduce the effectiveness of the injections or possibly make them useless altogether.
